In 2015 I sold my belongings and headed out on a year of exploration and renewal. I did a painting a day in permanent ink on the ubiquitous 2" x 3.25" (54 x 85mm) polyvinyl cards found in everyone's wallet. The medium was ideal for travel, allowing me to work anywhere in all conditions, even in the rain. The resulting collection of images captured an inner and outer journey through the permanent and the ephemeral, the everyday and the ecstatic.
